The KRONOS has been designed for high productivity and minimal downtime. CERDI did not want to compromise on quality and accuracy and only worked with high quality European materials.
The Kronos fire table has been specially developed for HIGH DEFINITION PLASMA. The bridge is extra low because of a low center of gravity.

Independent system

  • It was decided to set up the combustion table and the extraction table independently of each other. In this way, the vibrations from loading or unloading are not passed on to the XY combination.

  • The system can be equipped with 2 or more loading tables, so that a smaller table can be purchased.

  • As an option, an automatic loading robot can automatically load your plates, resulting in higher productivity.

1.3.Small setup times

  • The system is constructed in such a way that a transition of different thicknesses of plates can take place very quickly. The torch has a quick coupling that allows the torch body to be replaced without tools. The control system is equipped with visual aids that enable the operator to quickly identify and position the correct wear parts.

  • Switching from marking to cutting is done automatically by automatic switching of gases and parameters.

  • Large database with all possible materials and sheet thicknesses

  • Standard shapes that are easy to use.

  • It is not necessary to place the plates against a stop. With the laser pointer you can determine the location and the angle of rotation very easily. All drawings are automatically rotated.

  • Very user-friendly operation and user interface.

The software of the KRONOS has a very clear and comprehensible structure so that the operator understands or can find all functions with a minimum of training or education.

REAL Multitasking environment

The KRONOS delivers increased productivity due to the possibility of multitasking with Windows® XP embedded environment. Loading new programs, creating or editing (parts) programs or creating a new program by means of the extensive shape library, production messages, monitoring of wearing parts can all at the same time, and all this while the machine is cutting.

Extensive nesting software

If the current cutting pattern needs to be interrupted, recover from cutting power interruption, power failure, replacement of consumables, interrupt a long nesting, jump to the end of a part or nesting, reverse cutting direction all this can be done very quickly by the REVERSE button without the current position or sheet metal. Up to 18 positions can be stored for multiple plates, starting locations, wear parts replacement or sleeping location.

Fast DXF / DWG File conversion

The software is capable of converting CAD files instantly without using postprocessing or nesting software. In addition, the necessary LEAD IN / LEAD OUT positions are automatically added or assigned by means of the operator.

Advanced Plasma Process control – optional

Optionally, the Plasma Process Wizard can automatically control the gas settings and height control. By simply specifying your material type, thickness and flow settings, the software will provide the necessary settings for the plasma source, height control and gases. The notch (cut thickness) can always be manually adjusted by the operator. The cutting speed can also be corrected via the remote control (0-125%).

Enforced command messages (ACM) – optional

ACM are parameters that are loaded to obtain a perfect cut quickly and accurately. These parameters are automatically forwarded to the plasma and the height control. This contributes to improved holes and increased service life of the wearing parts.

Visual wear parts aid

To help select the consumables quickly and correctly, the correct part is displayed visually. This leads to fewer errors and improved quality.

SigmaNEST goes beyond typical plasma software and takes efficiency and productivity to the next level through optimization, process efficiency and lowering the overall maintenance cost.

2.2. SIGMA software

The machine must be equipped with a fume extraction table to evacuate harmful flue gases.

Cerdi has developed a special smoke extraction table with different compartments for optimal extraction. In this way, the necessary extraction capacity is kept limited. The different compartments are controlled fully automatically, as is the fan.

The construction is constructed in such a way that cutting sparks remain in the table and cannot end up in the filter installation, which could possibly cause a fire. Thanks to this arrangement, the filters will have a longer service life, resulting in lower maintenance costs.
The waste bins can be easily removed for cleaning by means of lifting eyes.

Cerdi has developed a vacuum system that removes the smoke adequately and leaves the heavier parts in the tank.

The compartments are opened with compressed air cylinders that have been chosen to function without problems for years in industrial, highly polluted air. That is why special dirt separators and compressed air lines have been chosen. All control electronics are in a locked box away from it all.

Optionally, a mesh net can be placed under the cutting support beams to catch small pieces when cutting. This prevents them from having to be fished from the catch basins.

The cutting support beams have a distance of 50mm and lie in a C-shape on the table.

The table is designed for a maximum weight of 750 kg / m².

Note: It goes without saying that heavily soiled, rusting or painted plates cause a strong smoke development, for which the smoke extraction is not designed for. Additional measures will be required to comply with the regulations.
